A quarter of Ungheni district is over 60. Seniors are learning the phone so they are not left behind

At a mutual-support group in the town of Ungheni, older people practised using a phone, the internet and electronic services — a small lesson with a large stake behind it. Almost a quarter of the district's residents are now over 60, their number is rising even as the district empties out, and more and more state services are moving online.
